Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for appointment in the Benue State University Teaching Hospital., Makurdi to fill the following positions:

1. Consultants in the following sub – specialties:

(i) Gastroenterology

(ii) Endocrinology

(iii) Dermatology

(iv) Plastic Surgery

(v) Paediatric Surgery

(vi) Anaesthesiology

(vii) General Surgery

(viii) Cardiology

(ix) Oncology

(x) Otolaryngology (ENT)

(xi) Neurosurgery

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSTS

Candidates must possess the Part Il Certificate of the Fellowship of the National Post-graduate Medical College of Nigeria or its equivalent in the Sub-Specialty. They must have current practicing licenses of the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.

2. Registrars in the following specialties:

(i) Ophthalmology

(ii) Radiology

(iii) Obstetrics and Gynaecology

(iv) Family Medicine

(v) Internal Medicine

(vi) Surgery

(vii) Paediatrics

(viii) Anatomical Pathology

(ix) Chemical Pathology

(x) Medical Microbilogy

(xi) Haematology

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSTS

Candidates for the posts must possess the following:

(a)  MBBS, MBBCH or its equivalent

(b) Primary Fellowship Examination of the Post-graduate Medical Colleges in the specialty

(c) They must have current practicing license of the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.

3. Senior House Officers & House Officers

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSTS

Candidates for the posts must possess the following:

(a) MBBS, MBBCH or its equivalent

(b) They must have current practicing license of the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
